We're Ba-ack!

We are back and in business.  We've been busy with the crazy summer time - kids, beach, beer, talking about what we should be posting but not actually doing it... Check out the College, fashion and food sections Saturday and Sunday for happenings - opinions, what we ate, what we wore, how we rolled...

Happy Football Season, ya'll.  Go Bama!! Go Tigers!!

Happy Superbowl Weekend!

What a big week.  Not so much for the rest of the world... ok, but a lot of them.  It's a huge week for this girl.  My team is in the Superbowl.  They haven't been there since 2000.  13 whole years.  I realize there are other teams who have been absent from this battle royale for longer.  Not my problem. :)  They should have the philosophy of the new generation, my youngest child included, who says, "I'm going to root for the team who is winning."  Must be nice for him to always get a W out of his team (who cares if his team of choice changes 11 times in 3 hours).

Anyways, I cannot wait.  I'll be starting up the Foodie section of this site this weekend as I put together a tasty meal for some friends on Sunday, so stay tuned.

A few key notes I would like to discuss:

1.  How cute is Wes Welker for a loser?  (Did I mention THE RAVENS ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL, BABY!)

2.  ... and then there is his wife who is so upset he's not getting a Superbowl bonus that she's taking it out on Ray Lewis (some people were made just to stand there and look pretty but to not actually speak - Anna is one of them):

3.  This white girl has some serious Torrey Smith hair envy.  Who wouldn't?  Not that the rest of him doesn't look delicious.

4.  Speaking of great hair, Pam Oliver was sporting a great do on Championship Sunday.  Her highlights look fantastic, and props to her for looking better the older she gets.

5.  Ray Lewis will be playing his last game Sunday.  It's been a true pleasure watching him throughout his career.  He's literally the first player who I closely followed for their entire career in the NFL.

6.  Tony Gonzalez may retire, although he's still undecided.  He's been fantastic, respectable player for the past several years.  Truly one of the best tight ends (with a very tight end, I might add).  My only advice for Tony - don't commit to retiring till you are sure... That's what annoyed me most about Brett Favre.

7. Next week is National Signing day.  Should be interesting to see if there are any more decommits, and who ends up signing with whom.  Stay tuned.

Which number is higher?

1.  The number of times Chip Kelly changes his mind on where he wants to coach?

or

2.  The number of times Brett Favre said he was going to retire, but came back and played anyways?
